What is Thunder Vision?
Thunder Vision is an opportunity for middle school students to visit the Grand Canyon University campus and experience what college life is like.
GCU’s K12 support programs are designed to inspire K12 students to be forward thinking, prepared for a college education and inspired for career excellence. Students will tour campus, have lunch with GCU students, and learn about preparing for college. Activity content is aligned to the AZ State CTE/AVID standards.
Mission – While providing a fun and engaging environment, Thunder Vision strives to enlighten middle school students with foundational tools to begin first steps toward unlocking their full potential.
On Campus Thunder Vision
This in-person program is for 7th and 8th-grade students to visit GCU and experience a campus tour, college readiness presentation, and lunch with our mascot Thunder! While on campus, they will talk to current college students about GCU, college in general, and the best steps to take now to prepare for life after high school. The program is complimentary for all 7th and 8th Grade students including public, charter, private, Christian, and home schools in Arizona. Space is limited.

Virtual (Live) Thunder Vision
Virtual Thunder Vision for 7th & 8th grade students is an opportunity to virtually tour GCU and interact with a college readiness presentation. Current college students will talk about their GCU experience, college in general, and the best steps to take now to prepare for life after high school.
The program is complimentary for all 7th and 8th Grade students including public, charter, private, Christian, and home schools from any geographic location. Space is limited.
